Feasibility of metal deformation process does not need to be proven under conditions of steady material price increase. Tehpostavka LLC is one of the industrial leaders in cross-wedge rolling and die forging. We offer you all the opportunities for development and production of parts according to the customers’ requests and technical documents.
The cross-wedge rolling method allows to manufacture products of round, hex-shaped or square billets or pipes.
The initial profile is transformed into the round profile.
Cross-wedge rolling may be applied to obtain products containing the elements with round cross-section in form of cylinders, cones, spheres, with rectangular cross-section in form of flats as well as threaded sections. They may preserve separate section elements of initial billets of square or hex-shaped form. The most popular examples of such products include ball, ball joint, shaft, screw spike, fish bolts etc.
One advantage of the process of cross-wedge rolling is a high level of precision products towards other hot forming processes. The present level of development of the equipment and technology can achieve exactly diametrical sizes of products at H8, including elements of the thread. An example of such a product is a piece spindle.
As a result, cross-wedge rolling, a new item in the macrostructure of the material in which continuous fibers are arranged symmetrically about the axis are sealed at the surface. Such macrostructure improves product performance, particularly fatigue strength.
Production of billets for subsequent forging improves material utilization and productivity. The most common example of the use of cross-wedge rolling for subsequent punching is the production of details of the "rod".
Production of billets for further processing finish turning allows you to increase the coefficient of material utilization and reduce labor intensity of production final product.Manufacture of finished articles and pieces that do not require further surface treatment. An example of such a product is a cutter body, which wedge rolling provides the required level of accuracy and surface roughness.
There is an extensive group of products, in the manufacture of which no other method does not give a saving of raw materials and a level of performance as a cross rolling.
The die forging method consists in changing of billet form in casting molds (dies) under pressure. In case of application of the die forging method for part production the billet is preliminary heated till the required temperature to obtain the required plasticity. The forgings obtained in this case are characterized with good surface quality, higher structure complexity, high precision in sizes as well as lower allowances. Die forging ensures essential metal economy and decreases final treatment complexity.
